MULTIDIMENSIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN THE NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION AND THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

The relations between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the Republic of Moldova started in 1992, with the accession of our country to the NATO Cooperation Council. This dialogue platform was followed by cooperation within the Euro-Atlantic Partnership in 1997. Along with the launch of bilateral cooperation, the Republic of Moldova has started to benefit from the opportunities offered by NATO Peace and Security Programme (SPS), a platform for supporting cooperation in the field of research and innovation. The authors of the articles examine the evolution of the relations between NATO and the Republic of Moldova and present an analysis of the bilateral cooperation, as well as the scientific results obtained in the aforementioned programme
