Abstract - Social media influences and changes the attitudes and behavior of its users using a technique known as Persuasive Technology, a concept that is both invisible and manipulative, which has a big impact in all aspects. This research is library research using a literature study approach. With persuasive technology, web applications, social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, and other applications tend to become addicting and get more addicting.
