The perception of gambling among students inSwedish upper secondary school : – A study about student attitudes and knowledge

Inclusion of gambling in Swedish public health program ANDTS creates opportunities for preventative teaching in Swedish upper secondary school. The study explores differences between gambling and non-gambling youth. Students are interviewed to provide insight to effective teaching. The subjects of gambling as a part of personal finance, the mathematical structures underlying gambling and the development of addiction are found to be important to strengthen protective factors
