In this thesis, measurements of the pT-differential production yields of prompt D*+-meson in Pb--Pb collisions in the two centrality classes 0--10% and 30--50% at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $sqrt{s_{rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV are presented. The high statistic data sample collected at the end of 2018 by the ALICE collaboration, allows us to perform the measurements in finer pT bins for transverse momentum range lower than 10 GeV/c. Moreover, the average non-strange D-meson RAA (nuclear modification factor) as a function of pT can go down to 0 pT at 0--10% centrality classes.
