Violence as a part migrans' experience and the possible solutions of it

The diploma thesis " Violence as a part of migrants' experience and the possible solutions of it" deals with the issue of violence committed against migrants during their stay in the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to identify the most common types of violence that foreigners encounter with during their stay, to examine existing methods for solving the problem and to present own proposals for solving the problem from the perspective of a migrant living in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part defines the concept of violence and focuses on its division. A significant part is devoted to the description of the current system of assistance to migrants in today's Czech Republic. The experience with the integration of foreigners in Western European countries is also described in this part. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the existing types of violence with which migrants in the Czech Republic most often encounter. The research is performed using qualitative data analysis. The group of respondents consists of five migrants living in the Czech Republic, who have not obtained the Czech citizenship yet. The conclusion of the thesis is a presentation of existing methods for solving the problem of violence against migrants on the one hand, and a presentation of own proposals for consideration..
