The topic of work is a phenomenon of modern graffiti and its gradual development to the present form. The aim of the text is theoretically describe the basic principles of the graffiti in the context of its historical development and clarify the way 'from the periphery to the centre'. Work begins with the emergence of graffiti in the 60's and gradually are developed its most important phase to the actual inclusion of graffiti in contemporary art and the related commercialisation of the phenomenon.
