Neoconservative Thinking on Foreign Policy

Bachelor's thesis "Neoconservative Thinking on Foreign Policy" focuses on one distinctive approach to American foreign policy, namely the one of the neoconservative movement as formulated during the Nineties. The work begins with providing chronological development of the movement and sets it into historical and political context. By doing so it identifies who the neoconservatives actually are and where their stance on foreign policy issues derives from. Then the work proceeds to state and explain the main guiding principles for American foreign policy, as formulated by so called third generation of neoconservatives during the Nineties. The last part of the work looks at the neoconservative concept of American national interest which is believed to be the key explanation of the specific nature of neoconservative foreign policy agenda
