The beginning of the thesis presents 3D scanner types. Following part describes how the structured light 3D scanners works. It takes into the account whole scanning process and adress problems like calibration, optical triangulation, or surface reconstruction of 3D objects. The second half of the thesis is focused on the implementation of simple 3D scanner, using Machatronics laboratory hardware. It also describes scanners behaviour in different conditions
