Touchless hand sanitizer dispenser

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a smart touchless disinfection dispenser, which is able to distribute the disinfection but also control the whole device. The dispenser is equipped with a LaskaKit ESP-12 development board containing the Wi-Fi microchip ESP8266, which allows the user to check the status of the dispenser and control the unit through the cloud IoT platform Blynk. Checking the battery status, the disinfection status in the container or controlling the disinfection replenishment is thus possible through the application in the smartphone. The disinfection distribution itself is made possible by a peristaltic pump and is powered by 18650 large-capacity Li-ion batteries. The measurement of the hand distance, as well as the excitation of the unit, is then provided by two sensors – IR optical sensor FC-51 and PIR sensor HC-SR505
