The number of people with type 2 diabetes has sharply increased all over the world, especially in China. Nurses use several methods in order to prevent type 2 diabetes in patients with risk factors, but also in general population. The aim of this thesis was to offer nurses knowledge that they can use towards preventing type 2 diabetes in adults. The research purpose was geared towards developing early care intervention to prevent type 2 diabetes in adults. This study was implemented as a literature review.
