Este trabalho tem como objetivo realizar um estudo numérico da influência da razão de bloqueio nos coeficientes de arrasto e sustentação e no número de Strouhal de um escoamento laminar entre placas planas ao redor de um corpo cilíndrico. O método numérico utilizado para obtenção dos campos fluidodinâmicos dos escoamentos foi o método de lattice Boltzmann. Diferentes casos foram simulados em dependência com o número de Reynolds (entre 20 e 90), para diferentes razões de bloqueio: 0,4, 0,5 e 0,6.
