Strategic Communications in Display Environmental Problems

The article presents the study of the way in which environmental problems reflect in strategic communications. Solution of environmental problems in Ukraine is complicated by the need to promptly inform society of destructive processes which can turn into serious problems, bring its manifestations to catastrophic levels, threatening the environment. The purpose and tasks of strategic communications in the field of ecology are clarified, and these are: definition of state interests at the national and international level, and achievement of these interests; effective interaction and fruitful cooperation between politicians and activists to achieve common goal of preserving the environment; the ability to interpret actions as information and feedback on environmental issues; establishment of activities between institutional organizations; purposeful use of the organization in order to fulfill its mission; coordination of communications between the subjects of different organizations to strengthen the strategic effect in the environmental sphere; improving the positions of the main actors; producing of information on environment issues, etc. Ukraine has developed a national system of sustainable development goals, which should provide a basis for further planning of Ukraine development, overcoming the imbalances that exist in the economic, social and environmental spheres. The conception of environmental policy in Ukraine is constantly evolving, revealing new solutions to environmental problems, using the main trends which are actual in the European Union, while strategic communications are effectively manifested in the provision of Ukrainian and international scientific information exchanges, communications in the regions of Ukraine and international academic centers in accordance with the process of evolution of the information society
