Liver transplantation is the treatment of choice for patients with end-stage liver disease or acute liver failure. However, vascular complications, such as hepatic artery stenosis and/or thrombosis, graft portal vein stenosis and biliodigestive strictures following liver transplantation are still common despite improvements and innovations in surgical techniques.
