ObjectiveTo systematically evaluate the association of the presence and severity of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) with the risk of colorectal adenoma (CRA) and colorectal cancer (CRC). MethodsPubMed, Embase, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP databases were searched for Chinese and English articles on the association of NAFLD with CRA and CRC published up to December 2019. Secondary screening, quality assessment, and data extraction were performed according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, and RevMan 5.3 software was used to perform the meta-analysis.
