PERAN BORNEO ORANGUTAN SURVIVAL FOUNDATION (BOSF) DALAM KONSERVASI HABITAT ORANGUTAN SEBAGAI AKIBAT PEMBUKAAN LAHAN PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT DI PROVINSI KALIMANTAN TENGAH

This thesis explains the Conflicts that occur between humans and orangutans often occur. Orangutans become endangered habitats due to palm oil plantations that are getting wider and habitat for orangutans getting smaller. The government is very important in this matter as the party who agrees and is responsible for resolving the conflict. In addition to the government, there are several supporting organizations that form private foundations and institutions that voluntarily intervene in protected protected wildlife. One of them is the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) in Central Kalimantan. The presence of this Private Foundation helps in the implementation of supporting orangutan habitat. The purpose of this research is to study the role of the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation in the conservation of orangutan habitat as land clearing for palm oil plantations in Central Kalimantan Province and to provide solutions if needed related to the conservation of orangutan habitat as land clearing for oil palm plantations in Central Kalimantan Province
