Mural Artwork As A Medium Criticizing The Development Of Disruptive Era (Case Study Of Mural Artworks Young Surakarta).

The main objective of this research is to prove that in the process and creative work of art or design, in this study is a mural artwork from Young Surakarta, which can be a medium for delivering messages of moral value. Mural artwork by Young Surakarta also can be a medium for criticizing and reflecting on technological developments. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive. Data obtained through interviews, documentation, in-depth observations, and content analysis. The data obtained were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that first, in the current era of technological development there are works of art that are still and can only be produced with conventional methods, namely manual processing or manual drawing. Secondly, through the production of mural art, Young Surakarta practices collaborative-work involving the community. Third, through the mural work of Young Surakarta and its creative-work process, found a message with the theme of the moral and social life of the people with a visual approach in the form of the local culture appearance
