The imposter phenomenon is defined as the belief that one’s accomplishments were a result of either luck, the hard work of others or manipulating others. The main research aim of the current study is to investigate the relationship between the imposter phenomenon and anxiety within Irish students. The study also investigated the gender biases in these two issues and how gender moderates between them. A questionnaire was filled out by participants (n= 80), comprised of demographic questions, the Clance Imposter Phenomenon Scale, and the Beck Anxiety Indicator.
