Diaper dermatitis is a common disease in children under 2 years of age; its prevention is based on proper care, hygiene, frequent diaper changes, aeration, gentle skin cleansing and the optimal choice of cosmetics. The authors conducted an observational study to investigate the effect of Dexpan Plus® Baby cream in newborns and infants to prevent diaper-induced irritation and redness of the skin. Dexpan Plus® Baby Cream was applied to clean and dry skin in the groin area with each diaper change for 30 days.
