Building on the conservation of resources (COR) theory and its extension, the crossover theory, this study aims to explore the antecedents and consequences of manager well-being in the digitally disrupted and globalised workplace. Focusing specifically on middle managers and their effects on subordinates, this study tests a model linking two potential antecedents of middle manager well-being, connectivity with work systems after-hours and business travel, with subordinate well-being and performance outcomes.
