Smart light control systems are becoming increasingly popular in the hospitality environment. However, legacy light control systems are not capable of coping with the more demanding requirements of hospitality environments such as big public spaces and large amounts of individual rooms under the same network. Employing wireless mesh networks as a means of communication coupled with in- network processing seem like a promising candidate for such networks.
