The individual response to exercise training is of great interest with methods that have been proposed to measure this response reviewed in this paper. However, individual training response estimates may be biased by various sources of variability present in exercise studies, and in particular by within-subject variability. We propose the use of protocols that can separate trainability from within-subject variability.Sin financiación4.915 JCR (2019) Q1, 9/81 Physiology, 7/85 Sport Sciences1.717 SJR (2019) Q1, 16/284 Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, 7/207 Physical Therapy, Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, 13/125 Sports ScienceNo data IDR 2019UE
