El presente trabajo pretende valorar el comportamiento de diferentes tipos de aletas en pruebas de nado libre. La muestra empleada ha sido de diez nadadores del sexo femenino, con una edad decimal media de 24,73±3,54 años, un peso de 61,53±5,50kg, una altura de 168,30±2,30cm. Los sujetos nadaron de 25m de distancia a máxima velocidad. Esta prueba se realizó sin utilizar aletas, con aletas cortas, duras y de fibra. El orden fue randomizado y había un descanso de 30 minutos entre prueba. Se determinó la velocidad máxima en tres puntos de la prueba, inicio, medio y fin para cada situación.
