ABSTRACT People with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have a deficiency in neural development, which affects their communication, social, and cognitive skills. There are several treatments that help these people, but do not cure them of this disorder. These treatments, along with ICT, are able to capture the attention of the autistic and support them in their development. This research is a systematic review of the scientific literature and aims to determine the criteria to be considered in the development of an application software for autistic children.
