These compounds have a wide range of applications, like in medicine or as luminescent sensors. Alkynyl and coumarin ligands have been prepared in this project. Luminescent gold(I) compounds with phosphine and coumarin ligands have been synthesized. The obtained products have been characterized using techniques like 1H, 31P and 13C NMR, IR spectroscopies and mass spectrometry.
