International audienceMost artifacts found in palaeolithic sites have gone through an utilization process that can alter their original morphometric attributes. Thus, every typological study must consider the problem of artifact use and repair, in order to correctly interpret the morphometric variations among them. In this perspective I studied 549 fork-based Magdalenian antler points from the cave sites of Isturitz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), Gourdan (Haute-Garonne) and Lortet (Hautes-Pyrénées).
