The aim of this essay is to analyze the effect that Evil has upon the creation and shaping of communities within Elisabeth Wein’s Novel Rose under Fire (2013). Most important it interrelates Communitarian Theory and Trauma Theory targeting the creation of a community based on the absence of exposure through the presence of traumatic features.
