HEALTH BELIEF MASYARAKAT YANG TIDAK MENERAPKAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI DESA PANDANREJO

This study aims to find out health belief of people who do not apply health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic in Pandanrejo Village by using the theory of health belief model. During the COVID-19 pandemic, health protocols are the main tool for personal protection so as not to be exposed to the Covid-19 virus. However, there are still many people who are still ignorant of health protocols, one of which is the community in Pandanrejo village. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method that uses data collection such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the community does not feel vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic, nor does the community feel threatened. This is because the community considers this disease to be an ordinary disease, and the assumption that this disaster can be eliminated by rituals and salvation to ward off disasters (tolak balak). The community also does not feel the benefits of the health protocol, and the community considers that using a mask makes it stuffy when working, washing hands regularly which is considered ineffective, reducing mobility actually hinders their work. People have confidence that health, illness, life, and death are the affairs of the Almighty, as humans can only pray, and believe in the Almighty. This belief is generated from the local culture that disasters come from God and God is the one who can lift them. so they carry out the pagebluk salvation ritual
