NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER DALAM AL-QUR’AN (Telaah Atas Tafsir Al-Misbah Surat Lukman Ayat 13-19)

ABSTRACT The development of an increasingly rapid era has become a challenge for the world of Islamic education in particular. This can become a serious problem when education is difficult to filter the negative effects of the times in the form of acceleration of technology and information. These negative impacts lead to a character crisis and the moral decadence of students. Therefore, character education is very important to be internalized in order to shape humans into insan kamil (insan plenary). These character values have actually been contained in the Qur'an which is the core value and authentic reference of Islamic education. This study aims to examine character education in the Qur'an Surah Lukman verses 13-19 by focusing the research on: 1) Typology of human character in the Qur'an 2) character values contained in the Qur'an 3 ) The process of internalizing character values in the Qur'an Surah Lukman verses 13-19. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a type of library research. The data collection technique uses documentation technique. After the data has been collected, the researcher analyzes the data, while the data analysis technique in this study uses content analysis. Based on the research that has been done, there are results that the character values contained in the Qur'an include: (1) the value of faith / monotheism, 2) birrul walidain (devoted to parents), 3) gratitude, 4) wise, and 5) the value of patience. The process of inculcating character values is carried out by Lukman by determining the purpose of education first, which aims to shape humans into insan kamil (human plenary). After that determine the type of curriculum which includes: (1) Aqidah (faith / monotheism), (2) Shari'ah (worship), and (3) Morals (personal and social). The process of internalizing character values carried out by Lukman uses the method of advice, example, threats, suggestions and in the form of the prohibition method
