TEKNIK KOMUNIKASI PERSUASIF ORANG TUA DALAM MEMOTIVASI PENYELESAIAN STUDI PADA ANAK ( Studi Pada Orang tua dan Mahasiswa Asal Kota Banjarbaru )

ABSTRACT This research is based on many students 2015 who still haven’t graduated from college in Malang, from Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. This is because there are don’t have motivation to do the final assignments as a form of responsibility in their studies, loss of\ud motivation because the problem is not being able to understand lecturer’s explanation, family problems, problems of work in the office, broken heart, so that to always comparing yourself with other people. The long distance between parents in Banjarbaru and her son studying in Malang, parents can only help their son with encouragement and motivating them. Persuasive communication by parents in motivating to finishing studies her son is a technique in communicating with the intention of changing the communicant's behavior without making the communicant feel forced to change. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, data collection was carried out by interviewing with parents in Banjarbaru and her son studying in Malang City. The data from the interviews were analyzed with the stages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the analysis of research data, it was concluded that Persuasive Communication by parents to motivate finishing of studies in Malang City from Banjarbaru starting with doing informative communication techniques, like asking “how they are?’, their mental and physical health, and ask how their studies progressing, if there constraint are found, the parents try to communication with persuasive communication and providing new perspectives to reduce problems her son can do their final assignments well
