GAMBARAN KUALITAS TIDUR DENGAN KADAR GULA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS : LITERATUR REVIEW

Background: Diabetes is a metabolic disease characterized by impaired insulin secretion and insulin action. Lack of sleep becomes a problem that can trigger diabetes mellitus, sugar levels in the body if a person experiences sleep disorders such as prolonged insomnia. Objective: This study aims to see the description of sleep quality with sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus by reviewing the literature. Methods: This study uses a literature study method from journals that discusses the sleep quality of diabetes mellitus patients with the PubMed database. Garuda Portal, PMC, and Google Scholar for the 2011-2021 publication year. Before the journal analysis, quality checks will be carried out using JBI (Joanna Briggs Institute). Results: Of the ten journals analyzed, it was obtained from the PubMed database. Garuda portal, PMC, and Google Scholar use sleep, blood sugar level and diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: It was found that respondents with sleep disorders tended to increase blood glucose above 60%. The influenced by several factors, namely gender, age, psychological, environmental and lifestyle factors. Keywords: Sleep, Blood Sugar Level, Diabetes Mellitu
