HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN MORAL KERJA KARYAWAN DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Covid-19 is a global pandemic that causes changes in various aspects of individual lives around the world, one of them is work morale. This condition makes the organization experience rapid decline because employee morale is getting lower. Social support is one of the factors that can improve employee morale. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social support and employee morale during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research involved 154 respondents in Malang City using an accidental sampling technique. This study uses a scale adapted from the Asia Pacific multidisciplinary research journal for work morale and a scale adapted from House & Henderson theory, as well as NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) in the journal Occupational Health for social support. The research data analyzed using the Product Moment correlation test gave significant results (r = 0,708). There is a positive relationship between social support and employee morale during the Covid-19 pandemic. The higher intensity of social support received by employees, the higher the level of employee morale during the Covid-19 pandemic. Vice versa if the lower intensity of social support received by employees, more lower the level of employee morale during the Covid-19 pandemic
