PERAN PENDIDIK DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER RELIJIUS PESERTA DIDIK SMP BUDI MULIA PAKISAJI KABUPATEN MALANG

This study aims to reveal the role of educators in shaping the religious character of students as well as efforts in character building at SMP Budi Mulia Pakisaji Malang. While in this study using a qualitative approach with the research subject of SMP Budi Mulia Pakisaji Malang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, so the presence of researchers in the field is very important. Researchers act directly to collect data from observations. Data analysis is done by reviewing the existing data, then doing data reduction, presenting the data and drawing conclusions and the final stage of this data analysis is validating the data by using triangulation. The results of the study show: First, the role of educators in shaping religious characters is quite good in carrying out their roles by teaching discipline, honesty, politeness, and being able to be good role models for their students. Second, efforts in character building by making a series of religious activities well and carried out continuouslyrmants, while additional data was in the form of documents.
