HUBUNGAN HARGA DIRI DENGAN KECEMBURUAN PADA MAHASISWA BERPACARAN DI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

Self-esteem that an individual has can affect jealousy to a partner while in a dating relationship. Jealousy can also make someone who has low self-esteem feel worthless or feel unloved so decide to end his life. The purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between self-esteem and the jealousy of an individual who is dating his partner. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach, with data collection methods using the scale of self-esteem and jealousy. The subjects in this study were active students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang from 10 existing faculties and were undergoing a dating relationship with a total of 344 subjects. The results of this study found that there is a significant negative relationship between the self-esteem variable and the jealousy variable
