PERAN GURU DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI MADRASAH NURIL HIDAYAH DESA TULUS BESAR KECAMATAN TUMPANG (STUDI KASUS DI MADRASAH DINIYAH NURIL HIDAYAH)

Supervisor (I) Dr. Khozin, M.Si., (II) Nafik Muthohirin, MA. Hum. This study wants to describe religious character education in Madrasah Nurul Hidayah, Tulus Besar Village, Tumpang District. This study uses an approach based on interviews. The research subjects were students from Madrasah Diniyah Nuril Hidayah in Tulus Besar Village, Tumpang District. Researchers have reasons for choosing Madrasah Diniyah Nuril Hidayah schools in conducting research because they see that in forming religious characters, the atmosphere is thicker and the atmosphere at the school is marked by thicker and deeper Islamic religious education learning at the school. The main problem studied in this study is the behavior of the students in Tulus Besar village where in Madrasah Diniyah Nuril Hidayah there are still many who are concerned with watching spectacles that have no relevance to educational values and religious character, such as watching the show "Jaran Kepang" or Bullfighting which is usually held every week in Tulus Besar Village. The results showed that: (1) classes that used learning methods using Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Basic Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects with the initiation and integration of Islamic values both showed positive results in shaping religious character. Madrasah Diniyah Nuril Hidayah students/students, (2) teaching staff at Madrasah Diniyah Nuril Hidayah gave responses in the study that the use of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects and Basic Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects with the initiation and integration of Islamic values was the same -they have a positive influence on the formation of the religious character of students/students as indicated by the answers from identical teaching staff in the interview sheet as a research instrument, (3) the program used by teaching staff in shaping the religious character of students/santri is by studying the Qur'an 'an, learn through Islamic religious books thoroughly and with a deepening of the morals possessed by the apostle of Allah, namely Muhammad peace be upon him
