Ritual Tradisi Barong Ider Bumi (Studi pada Masyarakat Suku Osing Desa Kemiren Kecamatan Glagah Kabupaten Banyuwangi )

This study aims to identify and describe in detail the ritual of the barong ider bumi tradition in the Osing tribal community, Kemiren Village, Galagah District, Banyuwangi Regency. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive type of research. The data of this research was obtained from the results of observations, interviews with 4 subjects and documentation. This research was conducted in Kemiren Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency. The data collection technique used purposive and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources. In this study, the analysis used the social construction theory of Peter L Berger which went through 3 stages of Externalization, Objectivization and Internalization. The results of this study indicate that the ritual of the barong ider bumi tradition is carried out only once a year, which coincides on the 2nd of Shawwal or Eid al-Fitr on the second day. From the results of theoretical analysis In the Barong Ider Bumi tradition, the three stages of social construction of the Kemiren Village community regarding the Barong Ider Bumi Tradition Ritual started from Ms. Tampo as an elder in Kemiren Village who has a stock of knowledge in her mind about life including having knowledge, one of which is pageblug, she have an explanation of something related to pageblug. Once there is pageblug , so pageblug occurs outside of itself. Then an elder uses the stock of knowledge to think, analyze and read what is happening outside. During the Ectrenalization process, the elder used stock of knowledge to understand pageblug and then he found out in his knowledge that if there is a pageblug there must be rituals and ceremonies
