Tea production is one of the major contributions in the Indonesian economy. One of them is PTPN XII Wonosari Singosari Tea Plantation which in 2019 was able to produce 1,793 tons of tea. This result decreased by 2.98% compared to the previous year. The reason is due to the long dry season, pests and diseases, soil fertility, and tea picking techniques. Determination of soil fertility can be seen from the presence of soil mesofauna and macrofauna due to the sensitive response to changes in soil characteristics, nutrient cycles, decomposition processes, water storage, and changes in land and climate.
