DAMPAK KEBERADAAN TAMBANG EMAS TUMPANG PITU TERHADAP PENDAPATAN HOMESTAY DI KECAMATAN PESANGGARAN KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

The existence of the Mount Tumpang Pitu gold mine which has been managed by PT Bumi Sukses Indo (BSI) has had many impacts on the community's economy. The main activity is currently focused on the gold production business unit in Mount Tumpang Pitu. With this activity, it certainly has a significant impact on the individual business sector such as homestays around the gold mine. The purpose of this research is to find out the impact that occurs and whether there is a difference in income between before and after the presence of gold miners. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative research. And for the data source used is the primary data source obtained by conducting a questionnaire to the homestay owners. The results of the research on the net income of homestay business actors before gold mining had a percentage of 32.67% with a total net income of Rp.197,500,000. Meanwhile, after gold mining, there was a significant increase with a percentage of 67.3% total net income of Rp. 407,000,000, this shows that the existence of gold mining activities has a very positive impact on homestay owners, so that This is a distinct advantage for homestay businesses around the Tumpang Pitu Mountain gold mining area
