ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA NY. S DENGAN HIPERTENSI DI KELURAHAN BAKALAN KRAJAN PUSKESMAS CIPTOMULYO KOTA MALANG

Background: Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure in the arteries, and the symptoms that arise from this hypertension are dizziness, headaches, sore neck (neck pain) which can interfere with daily activities, irritability, and difficulty breathing. One of the non-pharmacological measures to reduce or treat neck pain or headaches is deep breathing relaxation techniques, warm compresses, and guided imagery techniques. The purpose of this scientific paper is to analyze public health nursing care for Mrs. S. with Hypertension in Bakalan Krajan Village-Puskesmas Ciptomulyo Malang. Methods: The research method used in the preparation of this Final Scientific Paper uses a case study report. In writing the scientific method in accordance with the rules of the nursing process which includes: assessment, data analysis, nursing intervention, implementation and evaluation. Result: After giving nursing interventions for 4 days to Mrs. S. The results of the case analysis of the patient with hypertension in two diagnoses, namely Acute Pain and Knowledge Deficit. With the results of providing nursing care, deep breath relaxation techniques, warm compresses on the neck area, and guided imagery techniques, a decrease in blood pressure can be found and can reduce the feeling of headaches and neck pain that feels achy / tense. Conclusion: That the priority of the main nursing diagnosis is Acute Pain, and the second diagnosis of Knowledge Deficit. From the results of the nursing analysis with the interventions given including deep breath relaxation techniques, warm compresses and guided imagery techniques that are able to relax, it can be proven effective in reducing pain and reducing the patient's blood pressure. It is recommended for families to increase effectiveness in improving patient health, especially in routine health checks every month.
