ANALISIS NILAI KARAKTER PADA TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL ANAK RANTAU KARYA AHMAD FUADI

This research is motivated by the importance of character that must exist in Indonesia today is needed because it has an important role, character greatly influences behavior in children. This is so that the value of character education that is implanted can be formed properly. In addition to being a medium for the process of forming a child's character, character education can also be the main reason for forming a child's character. This study aims to describe the character values in the Anak Rantau Novel by Ahmad Fuadi and the impact in the novel. This study uses a qualitative method because the data obtained are in the form of monolong dialongs contained in novels related to character education, the data collection techniques used are reading novels, preparing data collection sheets, finding and classifying parts of conversations between characters and monolong from the characters in the novel that match the formulation. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the character values in the Anak Rantau novel by Ahmad Fuadi include the character values towards self, namely religious, responsible, patient, independent, fair, caring, disciplined, respecting achievements, while the character values between others are: honesty, tolerance, tolerance, leadership, self-sacrifice, and character values for the environment, namely compassion, self-sacrifice, tolerance. Meanwhile, the impact in the Anak Rantau Novel by Ahmad Fuadi has two impacts, namely a negative impact and a positive impact for others and for oneself
