DISTRIBUSI KERAGAMAN JENIS REPTIL DAN AMFIBI DI KAWASAN WISATA KAMPUNG BLEKOK KABUPATEN SITUBONDO

Reptiles and amphibians or commonly referred to as herpetofauna are one type of animal biodiversity that is known to the wider community. Reptiles and amphibians are very influential for an area, so how important it is for an area to have data on the types of reptiles and amphibians. This study aims to determine the distribution of reptiles and amphibians in the Blekok tourist area in Situbondo Regency. To find out the diversity, evenness, types of reptiles and amphibians in the Blekok Tourism Village Area in Situbondo Regency. This research was conducted in December 2020 in the Blekok Village Tourism Area, Situbondo Regency. Research using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method (Heyer et al, 1994), combined with saturated sampling (census), made 69 plots, each plot has a length of 100 m and a width of 20 meters and observations were made in a mangrove area which has an area of 6 ,3 Ha. The results of the study found the total number of reptiles and amphibians found in the entire area of the Blekok Village Tourism Area, there were 8 species from 30 individuals. The number of reptile individuals found was 21 individuals while amphibians were found as many as 9 individuals. The value of species diversity obtained 1.81 in the medium diversity category. The evenness index value was 0.87 in the high evenness category. The value of the Morisita index showed that almost all species in the blekok area were categorized as uniform population distribution because the id value was less than 1, while the rice field frog grouped distribution in categories because it had an id value of more than 1 . The relative index value obtained results on the type of water monitor lizard, white-tailed house lizard, flying lizard in the medium category, the rice field frog in the high category while the chameleon, garden lizard, tail line snake and river true frog were in the low category
