PENGARUH DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP BURNOUT PADA PERAWAT DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Nurses are experts in the health sector who have an important role in treating patients during the Covid-19 pandemic. More than 100 doctors and hundreds of other medical personnel have died from being infected with Covid-19. The number of demands placed on nurses causes the nursing profession to be prone to burnout. This phenomenon makes the psychological condition of nurses also need to be considered, one of which is the social support received by nurses. This study aims to examine the effect of social support on burnout experienced by nurses. This study is a quantitative study. The research subjects were nurses who worked during the Covid-19 pandemic in Balikpapan, totaling 100 people who were taken by incidental sampling technique. Measuring tools using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSSPS) and Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) were used to measure social support and burnout. The data analysis method used was regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 23 program.
