Asuhan Keperawatan Pada Ny. P dengan Heart Failure di Ruang Airlangga 4.2 RSUD Kanjuruhan Kepanjen

Background: Heart failure (HF/CHF) sometimes referred to congestive heart failure is the inability of the heart to pump blood normaly and deliver oxygen and nutrient needs of the tissues. Heart failure is a clinical syndrome characterized by overload fluid and poor tissue perfusion. The mechanism of congestive heart failure including diastolic pumping resulted the cardiac output is lower than the normal value. This study aims to learn and understand in thoroughly about nursing care for Ny. P with Heart Failure in the Airlangga Room, Kanjuruhan Kepanjen Hospital, Malang. Method : The writing of this final scientific paper uses a research design with case study approach by exploring a nursing care problem for patients with Heart Failure in the Airlangga Room, room 4.2 at the Kanjuruhan Kepanjen Hospital. This case study uses a series of individual nursing processes in patients with heart failure diagnoses by assessing, establishing nursing diagnoses, planning interventions, carrying out nursing actions and evaluating patients. Result : Overcoming the problem of ineffective breathing pattern, acute pain, hypervolemia, and decreased cardiac output in patients with heart failure during 4 days of treatment. Conclusion : Of all four nursing problems present, the priority diagnoses are impaired gas exchange the second is acute pain, the third is hypervolemia, and the fourth is a decrease in cardiac output. The interventions that have been carried out on the patient are ventilation support and respiratory monitoring, hypervolemia management, pain management, and cardiac care. Implementation is carried out with nursing intervention plans. The evaluation obtained was that the complaints of shortness and pain had decreased, and the edema in the legs had decreased
