Analisis Pelaksanaan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) dalam Pembelajaran Daring di Kelas 5 SDN Tlekung 01 Kota Batu

Counted since March 2020, learning in schools, including elementary schools, has been transferred to an online learning model (on the network) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Character education activities during online learning remains a national education objective. Therefore, this study aims to describe: (1) Implementation of Character Education (PPK) in Online Learning in the fifth grade of SDN Tlekung 01 Kota Batu, (2) Obstacles to Character Education (PPK) in Online Learning in the fifth grade of SDN Tlekung 01 Kota Batu, (3) Efforts to overcome the obstacles of Character Education (PPK) in Online Learning in the fifth grade of SDN Tlekung 01 Kota Batu. This study uses qualitative descriptive research types. The research was conducted in October 2020-July 2021 at SDN Tlekung 01 Batu. The subject of this study is a fifth grade teacher. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation, with research limitations on the theme of eight Environments Of Our Friends, Sub-theme two Environmental Changes. The results of the study (1) the implementation of character education include learning planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment: (a) the learning planning used by fifth grade teachers has integrated character values either directly or indirectly, (b) in learning activities through the WhatsApp Group platform with an allocation of six hours, teachers have instilled five character education values in students, (c) teachers have conducted assessments of student attitudes using observation techniques during learning with use of assessment tools. (2) The obstacles encountered in the implementation of character education in online learning in grade five are time constraints and lack of teacher ability in making learning media, learning approach more teacher-centered, and systematic task collection that has not been well structured. (3) The efforts made by teachers in overcoming existing obstacles, teachers continue to use learning videos from Youtube by adjusting basic competencies and goals to be achieved, attending webinars and training on learning media design.
