PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT MELALUI KEPUASAN KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING (STUDI KASUS PADA BANK JATIM SYARIAH MALANG)

This study aims to (1) describe the work environment, job satisfaction and employee engagement at Bank Jatim Syariah Malang, (2) looking the effect between the work environment on employee engagement at Bank Jatim Syariah Malang, (3) looking the effect between non-work environment. physical on employee job satisfaction at Bank Jatim Syariah Malang, (4) looking the effect between job satisfaction on employee engagement at Bank Jatim Syariah Malang, (5) looking at the role of mediating job satisfaction in the relationship between non-physical work environment and employee engagement . This type of research is an explanatory research which is included in the quantitative method with a questionnaire for data collection. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique. Data analysis used was using Path Analysis and used the SmartPLS program. The results of this study indicate that (1) the overall work environment is said to be good, high job satisfaction and high employee engagement, (2) the work environment does not significantly influence employee engagement, (3) the work environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, (4) ) job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee engagement, (5) work environment has a significant effect on employee engagement through job satisfaction as an intervening variable
