ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUK DALAM UPAYA MENGENDALIKAN TINGKAT KECACATAN PRODUK TAHU PUTIH DI KOTA BATU

UD. Tahu 3 "S" Prima is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of tofu products. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the quality control carried out by the company is optimal or not, to find out the types of defective products experienced by the company, and to determine the factors that cause defective products, and recommend improvements to control the level of product defects. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The analytical tools used in this study are check sheets, causal diagrams, and qualitative descriptive. The results of the analysis based on the analysis of quality control, indicate that the quality control carried out by the company is still not optimal. Based on data collection using check sheets, the types of defects that occur in the company are soft texture defects, hard texture defects, dirty defects, and cracked defects. And based on the causal diagram analysis, the factors that cause defective products are human factors, methods, machines, and materials. Recommendations for improvement for companies are that companies need to tighten supervision of employee performance, pay attention to the quality of raw materials in detail, and carry out routine maintenance of equipment and machines
