BINGKAI BENCANA OLEH MEDIA ONLINE DALAM PEMBERITAAN PANDEMI COVID-19 (Analisis Framing Pada Portal Berita Tribunnews.com dan Liputan6.com)

On March 2, 2020, President Joko Widodo officially announced the first Covid-19 case in Indonesia. There are 2 Indonesian citizens who have tested positive for COVID-19. All mass media in Indonesia during this pandemic provided information or understanding, whether it was disaster management caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to find out how the online media frame in the news of the covid-19 pandemic published by Tribunnews.com and Liputan6.com. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach to obtain in-depth data, a data that contains true meaning by using the principles of disaster journalism, namely correct information, gaining social awareness, mobilizing the community to get involved, the government considering social information, and recommending policy to the government. The researcher uses Zhongdan Pan and Gerald Kosicki's framing analysis technique with elements such as syntax, script, thematic and rhetorical. The results of the study show that the analysis of framing in reporting on the covid-19 pandemic, Tribunnews and Liputan6.com always reports by inviting the public to anticipate the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic with the principles of health journalism. But the difference is only a few things, namely one of the tribunnews.com news writers using headlines that contain negative meanings and using other news portal sources
