Background: COPD sufferers often experience acute exacerbations that will experience conditions such as impaired gas exchange, ineffective airway, changes in breathing patterns, tolerance, nutritional deficiencies, and feelings of fear. Results: The results of the analysis show that self-management affects the quality of life of COPD patients, as for the types of self-management that affect the quality of life, there are three types that have the most influence, namely Supportive Care, 6-session Intervention & SPACE (Self-Management Program of Activity Coping and Education). ), and Health Coaching with influential quality of life from journal analysis, including Positive Behavior (22%), Exacerbation Rate (14%), Positive Self-Efficacy (16%), Dyspnea (18%), Improved Self-Management (8%) , Knowledge of Disease (12%), Rehospitalization (8%). Conclusion: Self-management can have a significant effect on the quality of life of COPD patients
