PEMBERIAN PAKAN YANG BERBEDA( CACING SUTRA, CACING TANAH, DAN KEONG SAWAH ) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN KELANGSUNGAN HIDUP BENIH IKAN BAWAL ( Colossoma macropomum )

Freshwater pomfret is a fish that has a high economic value and is a type of freshwater fish consumption and ornamental fish at the age of the seed. Fish food is the main factor influencing growth and survival. However, fish at the age of seeds is a time that is susceptible to disease caused by lack of nutrition in the feed and the negative impact due to residual feed which becomes ammonia, so in this study three different types of natural food are applied to the pomfret, three of which are silk worms , competing land and golden conch. The natural feeding of animals because pomfret at seed age is a carnivore. The research method used was an experimental method with the aim to determine the effect of different feeding (silk worms, earthworms and rice snails) on the growth and survival of Pomfret (Colossoma macropomum) seeds and ensure the best type of feed for Pomfret (Colossoma macropomum ), this research was conducted on 10 March 2019 to 15 April 2019 at the Laboratory of Fisheries, Muhammadyah University, Malang. The research design used is a complete random design because in this experiment only uses one factor or also called a single factor so that the experimental material is homogeneous. There are three treatments in this study, namely P1 (silk worm), P2 (earthworm), and P3 (golden snail). The results showed that the provision of different types of natural food (silk worms, earthworms and rice snails) had a very significant or very significant influence on the growth of absolute weight, absolute length growth and survival rate (SR) with P1 treatment in the form of natural feed types namely Tubifex sp worms are the best type of natural food in increasing absolute weight growth, absolute length growth and increasing freshwater pomfret fish survival rate. The conclusion obtained is the best type of natural food for Pomfret (Colossoma macropomum) seeds is silk worm or Tubifex sp (P1) with the highest absolute weight growth value reaching 37.55 grams, the highest absolute length growth reaching 5.60 cm and survival rate the highest reaches 93.8%.
