GAMBARAN KEPATUHAN PERAWAT DALAM PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 Di Klinik Nayaka Husada 01 Malang, Blimbing, Kota Malang

Background: The use of personal protective equipment is the main step to prevent infection. The Coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) disease is a viral infection that is a highly contagious pathogen, named Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which first appeared in Wuhan, China, and quickly spread throughout the world. The human-to-human spread of the virus occurs through direct contact with the infected person, exposure to coughs, sneezing, droplets, or aerosols. The result of research conducted in 2019 stated that the compliance of nurses in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was 75% The purpose of this study was to determine the compliance of nurses in the use of personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method of this research is used qualitative research. Sampling using purposive sampling method with the criteria of a nurse who worked in a clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic, dan data collected by interviews and observations. The data validity test used the source triangulation technique. Data analysis in this study used domain analysis. The result of this case study is been summarized into two themes i.e : the nurses compliance of using PPE and regulations for the patient if you want to seek a treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discuss: Compliance with the use of personal protective equipment is very important for nurses to prevent transmission of diseases that can be transmitted through direct contact, exposure to patient body fluids, droplets, or aerosol
