PERILAKU KELUARGA DALAM PELAKSANAAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN UNTUK MENCEGAH PENULARAN COVID-19 DI KOTA MALANG

Background: At the end of 2019 the World Health Organization (WHO, 2020) announced that Corona Virus Disease / corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) or later known as Covid-19 and was first discovered in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. , and spread throughout the world rapidly. The incidence rate is quite high, as of December 5, 2020 in Indonesia, it is known that the number of confirmed positive patients was 5567,707 people and recovered 470,449 people then died 17,589 people. Malang City is one of the cities of education with an average population of 431,483 people. An effective preventive measure to stop the spread of Covid-19 transmission that is important for the public is to implement health protocols. The purpose of this study was to describe family behavior in implementing health protocols to prevent Covid-19 transmission in Malang City. The research design was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The participant selection process was carried out using purposive sampling technique on selected participants who met certain criteria and conducted in-depth interviews using semi-structured interview techniques to explore family behavior in implementing health protocols to prevent Covid-19 transmission. Results: From the results of the interview, data analysis was carried out using the Domain Analysis and obtained 4 themes as a result of this study, namely: 1). Family behavior in wearing masks when leaving the house, 2). Hand washing habits, 3). Doing social distancing and 4). Family efforts to increase endurance. Conclusion: The family is the smallest unit of society so it is the most important cluster as the spearhead in the implementation of prevention of Covid-19 transmission in the community by implementing health protocols
